Zero stars!!!!!Horrible service, shady business practices. We have been customers of this company for at least 15 years and on the budget plan. Our monthly payment amount was 85. All of a sudden we get a bill for close to 500 in November 2020. Two people live in the house. Usage has not gone up. I called immediately and spoke to customer service. Was told to pay the monthly budget amount which I did. The next month, the bill was close to 400 with a past due amount. Nothing was resolved so I called again the Miami office. Was told billing is handled in New Jersey so I asked to speak to billing in New Jersey. Was told I need to speak to the Miami office so they transferred me. Spoke to the Miami office. Was told a supervisor would call back. Someone did call and said my monthly budget amount changed to 127. I said ok, I will pay that, which I did. Now for the third month in a row, I get a bill for over 300. Nothing has been resolved. On top of that, I get another letter threatening to disconnect service and revoke the monthly budget privilege. I AM SO OVER it and will NOT BE CONTINUING SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Horrible customer service. Do not use them. Just a heads up about the company if you do not pay your bill on time they will send a technician to your home to cut off your gas. We have been a customer for over 10 years but they do not treat us with respect or any type of loyalty. They cut off your gas for such a small amount of money, I will find another propane company. I'm just waiting for this one to go out of business now. We had to wait for over three days until they put the gas back on. The only good thing I will say is that Tony their worker technician is the best one there.
Our driver Ricky has been coming here for many years. He has always been very polite very friendly. We look forward to seeing him when he comes to fill our tank
The customer service is EXCELLENT! She was caring and understanding. She even apologized when hearing my story of running out of gas in the middle of cooking dinner. Less then 2 hours the delivery was at my home. I have been with Suburban Propane for years. I only had 1 issue and that was not receiving my bill once on a fill up causing a little small late fee. But, that was minor. Again after speaking with a customer service representative on that issue. I never had that issue again. And I never occurred any other late fees. I love this company and would recommend to anyone hands down. Continue the great service! Sincerely, A Loyal Customer
Local office never answers, called for propane on the 7th, roads cleared on the 11th, they started delivering to commercial accounts on the 12th, we still have no propane, it's been 9 days since i called and nobody has shown up, during the same time florida gas, amerigas, and blossmon propane have been in my neighborhood several times, was told by a supervisor that their commericial accounts are their priority, i would recommend anybody but them, im at the point where im offering random propane drivers on the street extra cash to sell me propane for my home, no power, taking care of elderly and storing insulin, national customer service is very nice but they dont do anything, suburban propane has the best infrastructure in south florida yet has had the worst residential response, they have two offices here and I'm equidistant from both, ill probably be able to start service with a new company before they come out Update: today is the 19th, we finally got a propane delivery 13 days later. They charged 4.74 per gallon!! That's a 1.20 more then the next highest, i should report them for post hurricane price gouging. Never again!!
