This school is overrated and horrible. Teachers do not care for students and intentionally try to make them feel horrible about themselves (specifically the PE teacher). Counselors take forever to reply back to you when one has a problem. The uniforms are way too strict. They treat it as their number one priority instead of the number one priority being the well being of their students. If you are planning to apply here, do not do so; you will have a miserable high school experience. Go to another magnet school.

I am a former student if this school and all i have to say is please don’t go here. The uniforms are way too strict and teachers will annoy you for no reason about it. Also most of the teachers in this school are downright horrible. The worst teacher i ever had came to this school and her name is Ms.landa she is the most unreasonable and mean teacher i ever had. one time she made a kid cry during class . please don’t go here.

As a former student, I believe this school is unsafe and an appearance based institution. They focus more on students uniforms and not the creepy predatory teachers that reside on that campus. As a parent, you should take the necessary steps to avoid taking your child to this school. There have already been two teachers that have been caught for inappropriate behavior and I promise there are multiple more vile individuals. You should demand more for your child's education!

The school has rules that are excessive and forceful and doesn’t help encourage creativity once so ever. Some examples are that you are not allowed to bring a jacket with a hoody (which I can understand), but it as well must have a Terra logo and colors. I don’t have the money to buy a 35 dollar sweater to wear for the cold classrooms. The jackets I bring have nothing in appropriate nor do they have names or symbols embedded on them, yet when I show up in my plain jacket I’m treated as if I’m a threat to the school even though I’m just cold. The teachers understand my reasons to bring such a jacket, for they have several layers of clothes on, yet the principle and vice principles still treat this mater unrighteousness. The sweater even if I were to buy it I don’t like, and I favor zippers on my extra layers of clothes. It honestly feels like the school over priced everything and just wants money out of the students and parents...

If there were 10 star rating I would give it that. I have to say that the principal of this school is one of the most kindhearted, compassionate and honest to God as humble as they come. In preparation of Hurricane Irma i went out looking for the best shelter for my family. Since the moment I walked into his School he welcomed me with open arms. Went out of his way to show me the classrooms to make sure we picked the best one for my family. During our stay he was always attentive to our needs and made sure we were informed and well. I had to write this because good genuine people should be recognized and he (I wish I remembered his name) exceeded all my expectations. I hope he gets commended for his act of kindness and excellence service to the community. I want to say Thank you to him and all his amazing staff and those awesome police officers which were so incredible too. The team from the American Red Cross and Fire Rescue were also incredible, never stop helping. Thank you all. I pray to God you're rewarded with health and a life of complete happiness. You gave me the comforts and peace of mind through this uneasy time. Thank you!!!
