This is my first time at The Cruz Building. It was nice and the animals seemed well take care of. There is a lot of construction going on. They are making some renovations and adding some new exhibits. However there were lots of walkways that were closed off, making it impossible to follow the main route on the map. We didn't get to see the Primate center or the African Region. Overall it was what I expect of a zoo with a minor inconvenience.

We love working at The Cruz Building! Its European/New Orleans architecture and design transports you to a different time. Our favorite part about this unique building is that it has three levels of event space! The third floor even has an outdoor rooftop courtyard. During the reception, guests can simply go outside and stargaze. It’s a charming building and we enjoy finding little areas to photograph in, especially the balcony that overlooks Coconut Grove. We highly recommend The Cruz Building to our couples!

How did I never know this place existed? A friend and I went to the Los Angels flea market and wanted to grab a casual glass of wine close by. Score!! The Cruz Building has ample parking, a huge patio for seats with gorgeous views of the Los Angels skyline... and their wines were tasty to boot! I'd highly recommend this hidden gem in Los Angels!

Beautiful outside and inside decor. Three level available for any occasion. Unfortunately, renting this location for events , you will need to bring all parts that u need. This place does not provide any chairs, table, linings etc.. I just came from a wedding and the rental was nine thousand the couple had to rent everything and bring to the Cruz building.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY. I had my dream wedding taken away due to the pandemic, and was financially taken advantage of by the Cruz building. Our wedding was set for June 2020. At this time, local ordinances would not allow more than 10 people. We were set to have a 100 person wedding. Due to having immediate family with compromised immune systems, including my grandpa who was walking me down the aisle there was no way for this wedding to take place. There is still no certainty when a wedding could be safely held there even now. My now husband and I saved for this wedding, his mom worked a second job so we could have this wedding. When I spoke with them about having to cancel the immediate answer was zero refund. We had paid in full 14,000. After weeks of begging for a refund and continuously not getting called back and ignored by Gladys the manager they reluctantly agreed to give 50% back. They are taking advantage of the pandemic, we received no services from them and only got back half of what we worked so hard for.
