Very knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned out my fireplace and chimney. They made sure everything was safe with the camera. They even took the time to show me how to turn on the gas to light my fireplace since I just moved into my house a month ago. Rich also explained I had the wrong size grate and took a picture inside the fireplace of the serial number and recommended a local company to purchase the correct size.

Mason's are absolute pros at identifying issues, and craftsmen when it comes to fixing them. We initially contacted Mason's for a cleaning/inspection but they noticed that the brick facade was pulling away from the wall. When they came out to tear down and rebuild the facade they discovered other serious issues in the wall. There were acorns stashed on/around the interior parts of the fireplace and there was not enough clearance between the fireplace and the surrounding structures (the fireplace was added some time in the 70's after the home was built). Insulation was also falling down and touching the fireplace structure inside the wall. Mason's entirely rebuilt the fireplace and interior brick facade in less than a week. They installed a smaller fireplace because they felt that the existing size was overkill based on the size of the room. They also installed additional insulation inside the wall for better efficiency. We wanted to preserve the original look of the fireplace and they were able to conserve and reuse most of the original brick. Any added brick was blended in seamlessly. They also took pictures before deconstruction and were sure to put the mantle, shelf, and hooks exactly where they were before. Rich and Ed were punctual and took great care to keep our home clean. They are also animal lovers and took every measure to keep our cats safe and secure during the construction process.
