CPV will not generate revenue for the town. It will not (definitely)provide electricity for this area. They are not a utility, they are a wholesale commodity). CPV will pollute our air and water. Anyone who gives this plant 5 stars JS is either uninformed or getting paid off. I suggest you go to the Wawayanda Town Hall and ask for the documents and read all the reports and correspondence. As for the health problems that the area residents are experiencing right now. It is only going to get worse. The plant is not operating yet. Oil cycles will be for 12 hours at a time and pump diesel exhaust the entire time. They can do this 60 times a year for each turbine(the plant has two gas turbines the size of jet engines). If you hear a loud hum from the plant that is what it is. If the plant is allowed to operate and runs on \fracked Marcellus gas\ the gas exhaust will be the same height and length that residents see now, according to plant documentation probably longer and higher. The exhaust will still blow where the wind blows and the pollution will have unknown particulates due to lack of review or avoidance of the truth to keep the public in the dark of the pollution dangers that this plant and other CPV plants across the country will face in the air they breathe and the water they drink. CPV lies, their attorneys lie, and the politicians who have supported CPV lie. Truthfully everyone within a two mile radius and possibly up to a five mile radius are in danger of serious health issues from contamination of the air and water and physical danger from physical incidents such as fire, explosion, or ammonia leaks. People beyond the 5 mile radius will be affected by air pollution and depending on the water table possibly water pollution and also issues from physical incidents at the plant.You can thank Orange County Partnership and all of your county and state agencies for their lack of due diligence in obtaining the facts and reviewing the consequences.
The place is letting off smells that can not be good. I might be 5 miles away and a friend a few more and we both smell the stench. I cant believe this plant was allowed to be in the community.

This plants fumes made me go to the Doctor twice. I have suffered sore throats and migrain headaches since they started burning Fuel.
