It’s difficult to find a customer-centric business nowadays, but Schagrin is the rare diamond. I switched my propane to Schagrin a few years ago and have had outstanding service ever since. Additionally, their annual service contract gives me peace of mind that my furnace, A/C, and hot water tank are all functioning properly. Recently, my A/C unit required replacement. Marc provided a no-hassle contract, coordinated the install, and followed up to ensure everything met my expectations. When follow-up service was required, I didn’t even have to provide anyone with a reminder. When it’s time to replace my furnace, I know who to call. In my opinion, Schagrin is the best heating and air company in this region.

Mike and the team as SchagrinGas were amazing. After I had my AC \serviced\ by a competitor, it stopped working literally the very next day. A friend of a friend in my community suggested Schagrin...for my electric heat pump. I had no idea they did anything but gas systems. Not only did I get a competitive price on a very efficient system, Schagrin did all of the paperwork to get me a Delaware rebate of 750. The installation crew was prompt and professional. They put down tarps over my floors, and were COVID responsible. I live in a condo, with no basement or attic. It took a good bit of analysis to determine how to run the new coolant lines. We decided on a method that was aesthetically pleasing. Beware of HVAC contractors who don't bother to replace the lines. There are many in my community who didn't do that; many neighbors didn't upgrade the coolant lines, and won't fully realize their new efficiency.
Got new central air conditioning unit 2.5 ton. Came out did the estimate. 4 days later unut delivered and installed. Didn't bother us one bit and did quality job and good Insulation on the pipes. 2.5 ton unit install and all 4100
We used Schagrin for our heat pump and air handler replacement. They were great to work with from the beginning! We worked with them as through Lowe’s so we could take advantage of the Lowe’s financing, but otherwise they handled everything. Mike, our salesman, was great at explaining options and being honest about what we needed and he recommended and not trying to upset the whole time. He laid out all of our options and let us piece together what we wanted to have, and still be within our budget. He even helped us sign up for the energy rebate programs through the state. The two guys that came to do our install were very courteous and on time. They got the job done quickly, cleanly, and explained everything to us when we were done. They didn’t leave until we were satisfied and comfortable with everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get HVAC work done!
Had a tank less water heater installed on Friday . Installers were knowledgeable and professional ,Install went without a hitch Install was neat and area was left spotless . I highly recommend this company to anyone .
