It was a very interesting experience. The crater is much smaller than we thought and there are a lot of divers getting Cerified there. We snorkeled and honestly there was not a lot to see. It’s a great place to go for a swim and just float around in the 40-45 min time slot that you have. It really is best to come already in your swimsuits and just put your clothes quickly in the lockers. They do have changing rooms if needed.

If you liked geothermal Springs this is the place for you. They are only doing Reserve snorkeling time there isn't anything to see as far as snorkeling unless you want to watch the scuba divers as they go down because it is freshwater so there are no fish Etc. If you want to scuba there you just have to go with a scuba organization they do not have scuba equipment there that you can use as far as I know? But I may be wrong. They do have snorkel equipment available for rental, otherwise I recommend just floating around enjoying the 95 degree water.

Me and my friends did this for our day date for prom and it was so so so much fun! The water was super warm and we all felt very safe and comfortable with the environment! The staff not to mention was very nice as well!

Disappointed. Came here after two weeks backpacking thinking it was going to be a spa like retreat. Nope. A group of scuba divers were in the water (6), a group of 8 was walking in, a group of 5 was leaving....2 workers inside. Is this a covid violation? Extremely small changing and waiting area....ugly gated crater roof, definitely not a big enough space of water for me to float comfortable with 16 people in the water. Didn’t even go in the water.

We really enjoyed the homestead resort and crater. The crater soak is a fun one time experience for the whole family. I personally enjoyed the property grounds and scenery which was amazing with a layer of snow. The cabin was clean, we stayed in 127 which is in the back of the property.

We loved the Crater, a great relaxing weekend event, I recommend reading up on the history, if you are wanting a dive certification this is your thing. Not so much of a long swim though, good for a relaxing soak

A unique place to go for sure. It's small and can't have too many people in at one time. The changing room are tinny. They need a few floor maps as my toddler slipped and fall on his way out of the spring. Parking is large enough. We liked it. Nature with a human touch up can be amazing.

First time swimming in the water of the crater, it's wonderful experience for me might be an once of the life time. The water was so clear that you see the legs moving under it from above the water. I live it!
