Two other electricians never showed up for an appointment and/or never returned my calls. Boy, am I glad they did that, because then we found Mike Hogan. Ultra-reliable, incredibly experienced, a great listener, a very creative problem solver, and a real pleasure to work with. He did NOT charge to come look at our project (an 89 saving). We have another, more complex project coming up, and Mike will absolutely be the guy we work with. Forget the rest, go with the best.

I am so grateful that Mike was referred to me from the previous owner of our newly purchased home,, Mike is a salt of the earth great guy and has fabulous work ethics, which are sometimes hard to find these days... He was always friendly, helpful, efficient and He Listened as we walked through the house and talked about what I needed to have done. He answered endless questions with much patience. He did a fabulous job for us.. I've referred him to a few friends already, and he will remain our go to guy for future projects.. Thanks Mike! We surely appreciate you!!
I was referred to Mike Hogan by one of the people I usually go to for referrals on services. I also ALWAYS read the reviews & put much value on them. A a result of mr experience (see below) I am now questioning the previous reviews, giving him perfect 5 stars. “Reasonable fee”...... “Cares about his customer’s happiness”...... His first visit was 30 minutes, at which time he reprogramed the remote for one of my fans. He told me I needed a new fan and that he charges 80/hr. I informed him that I had decided to replace all 4 fans in my house. On his next visit, he installed 2 of the fans, which too 2.5 hrs. I did the math: 3 hrs X 80/hr 240. Mike presented me with an invoice for 475. He justified it by stating he has a 1-hr minimum, which I can understand. However, he had changed 85 for the first visit, not the 80 he had told me. He then told me he charges a flat fee of 250 per ceiling fan, but was discounting it for me to 195 each (still exuberant, I thought). I was shocked, went brain dead and paid him. I did some research after that, talked to people who had done similar projects or were familiar with the industry. The feedback I got was agreement the the pricing was way high, and the surprise invoice was unacceptable. I discussed my concerns with Mike. He offered to instal the remaining 2 fans at a reduced rate. I thought it was only fair if he honored the 80/hr, the only fee he had indicated to me. That was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard back from him. He is a skilled electrician and seemed very nice, but I would not recommend him to anyone. I now have 3 electricians to install my remaining 2 fans at 55/hr. ..
We are really pleased with all the work mike and his crew have done for us. They are reliable efficient and go out of their way to make sure the job is done right and the way we want it. Always on time and very easy to work with any changes we needed were done without hesitation. We will definitely use him again when we need an electrician. Can’t say enough good things about him and his crew.
Mike Hogan is the electrician you want to hire for any of your projects! He is fast, friendly, and very efficient in all his work. He will give you options of what would work best for your specific needs and wants. He is very knowledgeable & skilled with what he does. He is quick to get you on his schedule, and makes sure you are fully satisfied before he leaves. We will continue to use him on our projects!
Mike did an outstanding job wiring my new shed. Worked in the heat of the day without a single complaint. Job was professional and price reasonable. Highly recommend.
Mike Worked in our bathroom remodel and he did above and beyond what he was hired for. He is great Electrician and really friendly Person to work with. I will Hire him for Future projects for sure. I highly recommend him.
Mike is awesome, pleasure to work with, he installed several lights and is helping me with outdoor lighting as well. His work is excellent and he cares about his clients happiness.
