Delicious Hot Dogs, and Italian Beef. The atmosphere is nostalgic, a bit of Chicago in NC! Mike is great, but if you haven't been already you only have a few days because he's going to retire and close it down! All I can say is if you haven't been it's your lose! Happy Retirement Mike, live life long!

It you like places with character Mike's Chicago Dog definitely has it. This was my first time in. Probably not my last if I'm in the mood for dogs. The dogs have a thick skin and sort of pop when you bite into them. They are full of flavor but feel a little small for the size of the bun.

The best hot dog ever. Generous portion of French fries. Great atmosphere. If your from Chicago and miss that Chicago style Italian beef or Chicago dog or just want to try something different, this is your place to eat lunch or dinner. I very highly recommend this place to eat .

Great Chicago Italian beef sandwiches,,Mike's has Vienna beef and hot dogs. It's one of the few places in north Carolina where you can get a real Chicago style Beef sandwich and a Chicago style Vienna Hot Dog ( run it through the garden). Mike's has indoor and outdoor seating available or carry out. If you need a taste of Chicago food ,Mike's is the place to go

Best hot dogs I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Chicago dog a real novelty for our area and Carolina dog can line up with any other in this state. The Vienna beef dogs are outstanding as are the poppy seed buns. And to top it off my wife was able to get a gluten-free dog and bun. Chicago memorabilia is neat and almost makes up for the omnipresent Fox News. Second trip: On a recent day trip to break the pandemic routine, we decided to have lunch at Mike's. Great location in downtown Ashboro, with a great park close by to sit and enjoy the day. Everything was hot, and tasty. Our favorite was the french fries. They offer wieners with or without a natural casing. We had ours with, and will try without on our next visit.

The lady behind the counter is a sweetheart. Very kind and considerate, like a mother or a big sister. Hotdog was fresh and ingredients were too! Very fresh bun.
