Great option for breakfast, brunch in Birmingham downtown. Very different from the otherwise standard brunch menus we see. Everything on the menu we have tried has been great. The pancakes are extra special.

Mile End is a really cool place. From it's location to the park and stadium to its interior, it's just cool. The menu is designed to reflect that of a Montreal delicatessen. So naturally it has staples like pastrami and corned beef. Food and staff were fantastic. I can't wait to go back and have more from the menu!

Went on a Saturday around 10am with 4 people. Pretty crowded but we got a table outside easily. Service was great. They have a good drip coffee. We had the the beauty, a bagel with lox, some latkes with sour cream and apple sauce, and a smoked meat hash with a fried egg. The bagels are really good, even better with salmon/cream cheese/capers. The latkes were amazing. Will definitely come back again when in Birmingham.

Tasty food in a classy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food came quick, and we were all very impressed with what we got. Looks like there are a lot more great options on the menu, we will be back!

Great Montreal smoked meat on rye. Fabulous poutine. This is a must stop for anyone wanting a true deli experience!!

It was a bit of wait for my cold brew coffee, which was quite small for the 4.95 price tag. Seems like a nice spot for pastries and coffee on a Saturday mornings. Based solely on a quick grab and go coffee I give it three stars. Looking at the food selection it would probably be higher if I had a meal.

We will definitely be back! Rueben was one of the best ever. Chicken Schnitzel sandwich was like a delicious BLT but with a HUGE piece of chicken added—-great flavors. We tried the Hoyt dogs, poutine, and red potato salad and everything was really great. Kind, quick service. Tons of options. We can’t wait to go back and try more.

Sunday breakfast to go with my wife: Great service and the food was excellent. French toast comes with fresh blueberries and sliced apples with a little basil. The sausage patties were perfectly done and had a slight hint of spice to them which was just right. The bacon was thick and perfectly done... no seriously, it looked like you imagine bacon should be before other places give you those sad slivers of under done pig. These were legit pieces of bacon perfectly cooked. The potato latkees were great as well. We will be back for lunch and of course another breakfast!
