We are first time parents and our Son was born under the care of the Milford Regional maternity team on November 5. As you can imagine returning home we had an enormous to do list to work through but one of main items on there was writing a review for such an incredible experience. EVERY staff member there was nothing short of exceptional - just so so caring and personable as if we were family while remaining professional throughout. We ended up being there from Tuesday till Saturday but during that time we got to know so many at the maternity ward to the point where leaving was emotional for us. After our son was born, many who were looking after us during labor stopped by the recovery room to say hello and meet our new arrival. Again, this is just one of the many examples of how genuine and sincere the team is there. Even leaving, we didn't just walk out, a group who was on shift that previously looked after us at one point came to the reception area to say goodbye. As you can expect being first time parents we were very nervous - from the moment our newborn was handed to us, we had a lot to learn but we drove home feeling confident in ourselves and looking after our Son independently. Without question this is because of the generous time and empathy of so many who helped us here at the Milford Maternity ward. When we have our second I can't imagine going anywhere else. For any family reading this who is going through pregnancy, I cannot recommend highly enough. [If this review goes to a general mailbox, can you please make sure this gets relayed to the team in the maternity ward, thank you]

Have been to Milford ER many times now, sometimes they're slow and you end up sitting around for a while, but I always feel cared about.

This review is purely for the billing department and customer service line. They are terrible. I called to get information about a bill that did not make sense (they had billed me wrong in the past before). The women on the other end had a terrible attitude. She was short and sound annoyed the entire time. SO RUDE. I feel bad for my doctor because they seriously made me consider seeing someone else even though she is wonderful. This place needs to do a training on how to talk to patients.

I called and the girl laughed because of my English as second language. She spoke very fast and I didn’t understand, I asked to repeat and she said “I have to repeat all of that?” While laughing. The problem it wasn’t the English, it was that she expected I know all the procedures of their hospital, like doctor names etc, i actually don’t go to hospital that much so i am not that familiar with all those procedures, plus this is my first time calling that hospital since i am new to that city, where i used to live everything is different to make appointments. It was unprofessional, she assumed i am a person that call many times and nothing is weird for me, and she forgot that the quality sounds of a call is not good, doesn’t matter which language their speaking, if a call sounds quality is poor, and a person is out of context, then it would be almost impossible to communicate and understand.
