Charming local place with good service and value, but the food is mediocre.

Amazing little vegetarian Chinese restaurant. Fast service and a wide variety of things to order on the menu. Has its own parking lot which is nice.

I don't know why there are so many recent negative reviews for this place. Granted there are other more popular Chinese restaurants in the area, but good luck finding a place to sit there. This place is neat and tidy and has a decent selection , service is courteous and very friendly. I enjoy the Mongolian beef noodles , sweet corn soup, and turnip cakes the most.

Standard selection of menu items with a focus on Shanghai specialities. I've always walked past this place and wondered why it's not busier. Finally tried it out today and was happy with the quick and friendly service and the affordable prices. The soup dumplings were pretty good although they could be even better with slightly thinner skins. The Mongolian beef and rice combo was fresh and flavorful but was more reminiscent of American-Chinese than the same preparation at other Chinese restaurants! Overall may be a good place for quick lunches in Millbrae downtown

Worst experience ever with a Chinese restaurant, we ordered one of their signature dishes "Hu Jiang Mushroom Bun" from the menu, and we waited for more than 20min for that dish. When we tasted it, anyone can tell this is the kind of frozen bun you can buy from any Chinese grocery store. The dough was clearly not fully leavened and it tasted like it was compressed so tight you cannot even digest it. I would give a 0 star if I can. This is kind of merchant which is lack of bare minimum integrity.

I looked up previous post, and the only thing I can agree upon was this restaurant will do everything to rip you off. I couldn't image what they put into your food in order to maximize their profit. I came here as a first time customer and ordered 6 various dishes. I couldn't finish all of them so I asked them pack 5 of the dishes. The waiter took dishes back to the kitchen and came back with a tightly packed bag which I cannot easily tell what was inside. By the time I got back home and unpacked it, I found two dishes (which can be relatively easy to resell) were missing. This is such a suspicious coincidence and I bet this is not accidental.

My Chinese workmates would take me here for lunch when we wanted cheap, fast & good food. Beef noodle soup was my all-time fav.

The best shanghai dumplings around. Seriously, they claim they are good down the street, but this is the best in the area.
