Amanda and Andy at A519 made the most delicious chocolate truffles for our wedding in San Diego recently. From the beginning, we knew they would be able to handle the large order and they didn’t let us down. They worked with us to tailor the look of the truffles so that the chocolates matched our wedding aesthetic. We were also able to get customized flavors that we wouldn’t have been able to find on the shelf somewhere else. They packaged the truffles in cute little boxes with ribbon and a name card that we used as both wedding favors and escort cards. We received a ton of compliments about the handmade truffles. We would definitely use A519 in the future—either for a big event, dinner party, or just a nice treat at home.

We had the best time learning how to make truffles at A519 Chocolates! Amanda was a great instructor who is quite knowledgeable. In the class you learn everything about chocolate, from what the cacao plant looks like to how different chocolates from different regions taste. You then get a hands on class on how to make a dark chocolate truffle which includes hand painting them! At the end of the class, you get to take a box of your freshly made truffles home!

My girlfriend and I attended a truffle making class lead by a sweet lady named Amanda. It was both thoroughly informative and interesting. There were 5 other people taking the class with us and we all were having a great time learning the truffle making process. It was an absolute blast on its own, but was topped off with keeping the absolutely delicious truffles we made while we were there. The chocolate they produce is stunning and uses high quality ingredients. Some things may initially seem costly, but it's only because you are paying for the best!
Hands down the most delicious truffles I've ever tasted! All the flavors are my favorite depending on which one is in my mouth. Literally impossible to decide but if I HAD to choose I would say the peanut butter pretzel, or maybe the s'mores…but then again the mulled wine is out of this world! These are my go-to chocolates for treating myself or sending some love in the mail. Pure bliss for the pallet, and they look like tiny pieces of contemporary art. Almost too pretty to eat…..almost.
