This place has something for everyone. Dog park is so clean and full of life. Picnic and playground is great, lake, Golf course, horse ranch, cycling trails, hang gliding, hiking the tallest peak in the south east of the Bay Area and what more? Nowadays, picture perfect green pastures and bird’s eye view of the entire Bay Area, as far as your eyes can see.

Great place for kids and adults alike. Lot of picnic areas for families and friends. Good place to sit by the lake ( lots of benches around the lake) and enjoy a peaceful day. Or go for a short walk on the trails. Definitely a good place to spend your weekend.

What a great hidden gem. Right now is perfect to visit, the hillsides are green and from a distance you can catch the para sailing. Sandy Wool was just stalked with trout so if you are into fishing off the bank, its perfect. Great trails up the hillsides. Don't miss visiting before it gets too hot.

Nice little pond, plenty of tables with grills. We ended up here because the nearby Sandy Wool Gazebo place was full with no parking available. The pond is small, and there are many picnic tables with grills. Good for a lazy weekend picnic with family and kids. Parking was hard to find though.

The covid crowds are terrible. Mostly that new park users don't seem to know how to not treat the park like a shopping mall. The nature is amazing. Wild turkey, deer, bobcats, coyote, bald eagles, golden eagles, kestrels, kites, redtail hawks and so much more. Please be respectful. Stay on trails. Park in real parking spaces. Leave baby cows alone, the momma cows, like any mother will not be happy. Don't go where signs say you need a permit. Enjoy the nature and please don't litter.
