I think the elevation of this one is at 300 ft. There are two higher launch sites that are at 600 ft and 1800 ft! The view there is unbelievable. I don't do it myself but enjoy watching it when I hike the nearby trails. [I think this is the landing site. There are three launch sites at different elevations.]

You can experience california typical nature during the trail. The duration can be up to 5 hours and mostly unshaded. There is no drinking water available, make sure you get enough water.
This is a great place to learn about paragliding and hang-glidding. Be prepared to 1500 or more for training. Some of the trainers are good, some are horrible so choose wisely. There are also other things to do and it's a good park for dogs and hiking. There is a 6 park entrance fee that is good for the whole day.
This is a great place for beginner to intermediate hang gliding pilots. Consistent winds, launches at multiple heights (50’, 150’, 300’, 600’, 1750’), and a community of fellow hang gliders and paragliders.
Sweet hills and tons of nice people who share the sport.
