Taylor and I connected very late in my pregnancy, and I could not be happier or feel more blessed that we did. She was a godsend through last few weeks of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and even now almost 2 years after my daughter's birth she is still available if I have a concern about nursing or a question answered about her birth. She made everything absolutely simple about the process from hiring her and even through labor. I would recommend her for anyone needing support, especially for anyone with anxiety (I even have ptsd myself and she helped me through the beginning of a panic attack while getting ready to push!) as she has a very reassuring personality.

Taylor was very convincing during our consultation and first appointment (we discussed insurance and changing midwives). We made our first payment of 275 and then she got extremely flaky. She told my husband and I that she emailed our contract, multiple times, but we never received it. She would never settle on a date for our birthing class (I was already 6 or 7 months along). We were practically begging to set another appointment with her so we could pay her and continue in our work together. We just felt more and more uneasy so we decided to cut our losses and not use her. She said our first payment was non refundable. She claimed to have a medical background as a nurse and to be a certified lactation consultant and certified placenta encapsulator. After research, we found out that is not true. I’ve heard horrible experiences from people who actually went through labor with her. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!!

My baby is 4 months now so this review is overdue, but I LOVED having Taylor as my doula. Most of my labor I was definitely freaking out and losing control of myself and Taylor helped me calm down, control my breathing and reminded me about why I was doing all this. We labored at home for what felt like forever before we made it to the hospital and my little girl came out not long after. I was adamant to have a natural birth with no needles due to a very bad needle phobia. Taylor was one of two people in my entire life who said, “I understand you have this fear, let’s work together to figure this out”. She was quick to inform and even quicker to understand. If you want someone who can mother you as you become a mother, who can kick your ass into gear when you need it and comfort you when you feel like you’re falling of the edge you need Taylor. And she completely surprised me with beautiful images that she took during the labor and birth. We talked about it, but I didn’t think she had the chance! Now I have these amazing images I can treasure forever.
