I've ridden with Phoebe for going on 2 years, and lease a wonderful gelding from her. Her lessons are informative and fun. She meets all her students at their riding ability, challenging them but not \pushing\. I have ridden most of her school horses as well, and they are all solid, and safe. When a student has problems understanding a concept, Phoebe will get right on the horse and figure out how to explain it better.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who really cares about their horse. Terrible footing in small over crowded arena. Little to no pasture and the paddock is a mud pit. Looks good on the surface but after a couple weeks you can see that it’s a farce. It’s a sixteen stall barn with only two or three acres max for turnout . The hay was wet and the grain moldy. When I found frozen water buckets and no help to be found that was it for me. Phoebe can spin a yarn just don’t believe it.
I have been riding at Phoebe Lawson Stables for about a year now and it has been a joy. Phoebe is wonderful as is every one who works at the barn. The horses are well-cared for and lovely, and the barn is also well-maintained. Phoebe is a great trainer, I never walk away from a lesson without having learned something - I highly recommend Phoebe Lawson whether you are just starting out or an advanced rider.
I love this stable I rode there for 3 years and loved my time there as well a specific horse named Noah All the instructors are amazing and I love this place so much! Hi Ms phoebe I miss you all and miss Noah so much if you see this say hi to him for me
My girls have been coming here for a while now and could not be happier with Phoebe and her staff. They are fun, informative, flexible, reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this stable for horseback riding lessons!
