American science and surplus is one of the coolest and unique stores in Milwaukee. This store has it all from electronics to arts and crafts to audio and visual. it's a great place to stop at especially if you've never been. it's also an excellent place to go to to pick up a unique gift for that special person in your life. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The store is always clean and well organized. The prices are fair and a products range from affordable to unique and a more expensive but definitely worth it. I love this store and stop here at least twice a month to check out all the cool new stuff.

Always find something unexpected and awesome, this has been one of my favorite stores since I was a kid. The prices are great too. I got an item that normally sells for 35-50 online for 20 on my last visit. Also a great place to shop for unique gifts! Staff is great and keep the atmosphere fun.

This is a very interesting store. It has a little of everything. Sort of going back in time. I bought a set of led under counter lights. They also had a \marked down\ set. The set had all batteries missing, one light missing and the remote missing. I tried to get a deal on it because money will be put in it just in batteries alone. Even though they will turn on manually, the remote is a great thing to have because of the many different colors available with remote and the timer fearure. Since I was buying an unopened package, I wanted to add this with it. I talked to an associate who really didn't want to help in the matter. Basically, it is what it is. I would think that making a sale would be something a retailer wants.

A great little store with lots of fun odds and ends. Gag gifts, science projects, and technical items, all in a fun a quirky store. Reading the price tags and descriptions is also fun.
