Reclaimed WW2 army base, this is a beautiful urban State Park, the only one in Wisconsin without an entrance fee.

I have lived in Milwaukee my entire life and never knew of this place. How can that be? This state park/forest is an absolute treasure. I am now encouraged to visit all of the Milwaukee parks to see all of what ive been missing. Havenwoods has made its mark on us as the go to spot for family hikes.
