I am very pleased and impressed with the quality deer-hair on hide that I received today in September from Stern Tanning from last season's deer hunt. The natural colors and softness of the hair on hide is superb! Such craftsmanship service did great respect and admiration of the beautiful deer harvested. Quality takes time. This is quite the treasure now in our home. Stern Tanning in Milwaukee was convenient to get to since it was less than 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and was open until 5:00. Thursday. It was about 80 total cost which is less than deer meat processing charges and this hide will last many more years than than the meat ever will. Looking at this beauty hide entices me to go out hunting again for that thrill of the hunt and respect of the entire harvest.

Have tried several tanneries for our sheepskins. Stern always returns our own hides; the leather and the wool are softer from Stern than from any other tannery we have tried. Our customers can feel the difference! Great job on a deerskin, too!
