Excellent workmanship, prompt, polite and very reasonable price for repairs. I am impressed and highly recommend this gunsmith for your needs. Firearm transfers can be done at this shop for a reasonable fee.

John worked on a VR80 for me, and I was impressed. Great guy, excellent skill set and reasonably priced, you can't go wrong with John.
What a great gunsmith! I needed my patrol rifle worked on after it kept jamming during a qualification course with my local police department. I initially tried a gun shop in Fishersville and was met with great disappointment. I did a Google search and found Mine Run and tried it with no prior knowledge of the service other than the two Google reviews. I drove out to Mine Run and met with Mr. John. He was a great guy to speak with, told me his background in the gunsmith field, spoke about his business history, and all-around left a great positive feeling as I walked away leaving my 11-year-old patrol rifle with him and his shop. That was only the start of the positives! About two weeks later I got a phone call telling me my rifle was ready for pick up. He had stripped it down, replaced some pins and gas tubes, polished the inside, fired many rounds through it with no jam, and re-cleaned the rifle. He sighted in my new pop-up iron sights and red-dot sight and gave my rifle the deep TLC that it needed. I have never been more impressed with the quality of work and the price of the work. I was shocked at how affordable the work cost. I will be bringing another rifle and a pistol to his shop in the near future to have some work completed on those firearms. The shop might be a little out of the way for some but the quality of work and price far exceeded anything I've ever experienced.
Johns has worked on several firearms for our family. His work is good and he has the job completed when he says it will be finished. Prices are reasonable. Thanks John
