Not so Happy Google review day! When I hired 612 Design I was told everything would be handled for me and I was not to worry. Had it not been for Jaimie Nelson, the interior designer, the project would have dragged on even longer than the already 4 1/2 months that it did take to complete. When I e-mailed Eric about my concerns... lack of coordinating and anticipating what steps were needed to be done to proceed, he replied that he was not the project manager. What was he? Certainly not a designer. I finally began scheduling projects myself. I feel that I paid a high price for someone to round up workers and to send some underwhelming design plans to me, which Jaimie and I revamped. On a positive note, Oscar Chavez (Oscar's LLC) and his crew were excellent! As was Jaimie, Crimson Copper Plumbing, MJ Electric and the other workers hired for my renovation/remodel. All were knowledgable and very competent.

612 Design did a good job but mostly because if the head designer Jamie. Outside of her it was somewhat bumpy project. Things weren't explained well on the process and caused a lot of confusion. And process seemed to change when Eric wanted to get involved more, but not always in a good way. There has been no follow up whatsoever from 612 Design to see if there are issues or just to get feedback. Feels like we paid and he is done with us.

We can't speak highly enough of 612 Design. My wife and I have been undergoing a complete kitchen remodel and after speaking with 5 reputable designers in the Twin Cities we decided to go with 612 - it was the best decision we could have made! Eric and his team were responsive, professional, helped explain their process step by step and went out of their way to recommend general contractors and other subs as requested. They were also able to work quickly and within our aggressive timeline. The only \even better if\ would have been 612 giving us a more realistic estimate of total project budget based on the design outcome, but at the end of the day we were responsible for managing budget and 612 was only hired to help with design services. Finally, highly recommend using 612 for material selection - Jaimie was a rock star and couldn't have been more helpful. She has a great eye and went above and beyond in finding a great solution for us. We will absolutely use 612 again in the future.
