This charming storefront restaurant was busy, but it was also warm, friendly, and quiet. One could actually talk in an \inside\ voice to tablemates and the waitstaff. A small, but welcome gift. That said, the food was delicious. We weren't hungry for dinner, so we tried the soups, salads and gyros. The egg drop soup contained lots of egg and lentils, along with bits of meat. Wonderful. The gyros was flavorful, and the tzatziki tangy. All reasonably priced.

Gardens of Salonica has a pretty large menu compared to most Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. The lunch menu had a decent array but I'd like to go back for their dinner, which I assume has more entrees to choose from. It was hard for us to decide what to order, everything was great though.

This is the best Greek restaurant in Minneapolis. Really authentic Mediterranean. Everything from the food, to the wine, to the pace. Perfect place to come for a relaxed meal. This is also the only restaurant I’ve seen with a diverse selection of Greek wines.

Got takeout here recently and would highly recommend it! We got the turkey gyro, feta dip, pita, & lamb shanks, which were all delicious. For dessert we had baklava and the chocolate brownie one - YUM. It was all great. We will definitely be back soon!

Simply breathtaking with the character of the outside of the building is just the beginning. The food is simply to die for. Also the wait staff is phenomenal when it comes to paring their wine with the food that they have on the menu. Simply top notch!
