I'm a small business owner on 38th and Chicago and can't say enough good things about the work that Heads Up is doing, and the work that Jaana Hull has done not only around testing, but working with the community around financial support, patient advocacy, and bringing diverse neighbors together to foster safety and vibrancy. This foundation and the executive director Jaana Hull has been a God send during this very difficult time of my husband being in the hospital and the critical stages. She has been not only been the patient advocate and helping our family by dealing with doctors, nurses and care coordinators being our voices. We would most definitely recommend this foundation to anyone in the need of a patient advocate
Heads up health helped us The Agape movement get into a building to provide the services that we needed do for the community. They helped us the Agape movement with the clothes drive for the homeless. Also whole space for the cove-19 testing information booth. I watched Jaana Walk people through some scary moments after the testing, My mother being one of them, for that She is most definitely is an amazing woman.
I stopped by the tent last weekend and was offered some hot chocolate by the lovely and welcoming people there. The hot chocolate was great! I was just coming by to drop off some donations but I stayed a while. 10/10 hot chocolate :)
They have such a friendly and easy COVID testing service at 37th and Chicago in Minneapolis. Super simple, no fuss, in and out experience! And it's free! Both people on site were also very helpful in providing information about the testing process. Definitely recommend for a free, walk-up, testing center.
