I had been trying to schedule with 1 of the 3 - 4 therapists that provided the services that I need, after at least a month it was determined that there wad no one there that could help me!! Seriously?? During someone's darkest times? You 'are sorry but it's been determined that no one can help' me with my issues. Good luck tho.

I highly encourage Black patients to seek therapy at a different location. I had a therapist who was 10-20 minutes late for most sessions. When we did speak, she focused on herself and her experience as a white woman. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging how inappropriate she was, she sent me an email stating our work was done. This is after I opened up to her about very difficult experiences. Black people (especially black women): PLEASE do not go to this clinic. Use resources such as Therapy For Black Girls or Black Virtual Therapist directory to get help. Do not put your mental health in the hands of white people. Trust me. Also: The owner’s response is garbage. That woman pulled the plug on treatment right in the middle of a very painful time in my life. This service is terrible.

Received an abrupt email notice at 7:30pm that my therapist is no longer with the organization. I called the next day to find out more and they could not disclose this information which I understand... however the receptionist sounded like she was repeating a script and called me Hunter. Extremely unprofessional and beyond inattentive. In the past I have also had billing issues that my therapist had to work out. At least get my name right and spare me the apathetic standard script. DO NOT USE LYN-LAKE Psychotherapy!!

As mentioned in a few other posts below. They will run your bank card without notice. They did it more than once .The first time was not my card on file but my Childs father who took her to the appointment for me and they wouldnt see her without card info. A few days later they tried to pull 1k without notice. he does not have that kind of money sitting in his checking account nor does he pay those bills I do. So if they would have called me it could have been resolved then, but they pull it at will. It happed again a couple weeks later for another bill I wasn't aware of and iI wasnt budgeted for. Again had I been notified I could have prepared for it or transferred funds but they do not call you they just pull it whenever they please. Completely unprofessional billing practices.

Seems to be a pattern here. Patricia Lucas called me and asked that I text her my email and she'd get back to me. I did so and she never responded. Unprofessional. She also said she was an expert in trauma, when her website says \birth psychology\ is her speciality. The place replied below to which I reply: why would I contact someone who is unprofessional (not to mention uncaring to me) and from what I saw on her website, misrepresented herself to me? No thanks.
