These guys were more then helpfull with setting up a total newb with a set of tanks for some torches. Dont let the small shop fool ya. Its packed with seemingly endless knowledge, jammed pack full of great help and even more care for the end user. They Instantly without and pulling or pushing pulled me away from big name welding and gas stores for all my other needs. My hats off to these guys.

Best prices. Best service. Best people. Bill and Fred at Metro Welding are the last of a dying breed. This is an old school welding shop that sells not only brand new state of the art equipment, but will dig out old Smith torch tips for you. The expertise Bill and Fred have is unparalleled. You can walk in here and get definitive answers about welders, hardfacing rod, gas welding aluminum, tungsten size and everything in between. At other welding shops, when you have even basic questions, the people behind the counter will tell you to look it up online, or buy a new welder and read the instructions. Bill has not only helped me improve my welding but has helped me fix my old Miller Dialarc at least four times. I can say with certainty, if it weren't for metro welding, I probably wouldn't be in business.
