Worth going on the free Thursday’s or First Free Saturday. Walker does a good job with limiting how many can walk through. One must reserve a spot online. Right now people can snowshoe in the garden. I wasn’t a fan of the current exhibits but it changes every few months. Beautiful place during the Summer out on the balcony.

I have an associate membership here and if you really have an interest in contemporary art I'd gently suggest you become an associate. It opens up a lot of opportunities for you to delve deeper into the experience of the Walker. There is so much in the Walker collection it's difficult to find a place to start. Currently they have a wonderful exhibition of womxn artists including those that express themselves as Fluxus artists. Their permanent collection is diverse and expansive. I'd advise taking several days to wander the galleries in order to really absorb the ideas presented.

Great place to your family or hang out with friends. Unique and awesome sculptures! Large walking path, great view, seating to enjoy the scene. Large grassy areas to have a picnic. Food trucks in the area. Once back open, the indoor center is great to walk through too. Also has a gift center.

Really cool museum & sculpture garden, would highly recommend if you're in the area. The exhibits are always unique, great place to escape the winter cold, or for a walk outside in the gardens if it's a nice MN day! :-)
