Amazing building, only 1 floor of exhibits and a few rooms are closed so it doesn't feel huge compared to the Walker or MIA. It's free, and I felt like the main attraction is the building itself. Exhibits typically change every school semester. Very friendly and helpful staff, I found the best view of the building from the Washington Avenue Bridge. Parking underneath the building was easy and only 3. Capacity is limited due to covid but wasn't an issue when I visited.

Really great experience. Relatively smaller than many traditional art museums but the collections are really impressive and highlights local as well as national artists. The building itself has a modernist architecture. Worth a visit while in Minneapolis.
I remember being here in person before COVID. They have pretty nice exhibits with some new art from time to time. It’s free to students. For COVID, I saw that they have are offering a virtual walk through tour of the place through zoom, which I thought was neat.
Take out pizza picnic down by the river @ the U. of Minnesota. Am I sensing the ghost of Chris Farley?
This has always been a fun place to go. Very intimate. Great gift shop for unique gifts.
