We have had excellent results with Sylvan Learning Center of Minnetonka. The first time we went my grandson was struggling with some of the advanced math classes at school. After just one session it was like a lightbulb went on and he completely understood how to do the new math. The next time we went we wanted to increase his scores on his AC T test. His first score was 22 which was not high enough for him to apply to some of the schools he wanted to go to. After taking the ACT course at Sylvan His score increased to 26. Some of your scores were very very high. I would recommend Sylvan Learning Center to everyone.

Our son took tutoring for reading at Sylvan , Minnetonka. We saw a substantial improvement in his reading ability and test scores after about 5 months of enrollment. Matthew was a great teacher with whom my son mostly engaged. Gail, the Center Director did a great job administratively. She was very helpful in getting the right tutor and basically making sure that our son got value for what we paid. Upon our request, she also gave us ACT prep materials even though our son is quite a few years away from it.

My time at Sylvan was dedicated towards studying for the ACT. Twice a week for two hours, I would go to Sylvan and be tutored on Math/Science and Reading/English. The study books I received were very informative as well as the tutors that helped me. Sylvan’s director, Gail, allowed me to take as many practice ACT test as I wanted, and she was always willing to work with me on scheduling. When comparing my ACT studies to my friend’s, I found that Sylvan had something very unique: their online study hall. I had access to a wealth of videos and online quizzes all dedicated towards the ACT. This online study hall allowed me to study in my own time which was extremely beneficial especially with my busy schedule. My composite ACT score improved by 7 points, and this feat could not have been done without Sylvan. Though I hope everyone can find as much success through Sylvan as I have, remember that with anything, your determination and attitude is a major (if not, the biggest) factor. If you want to do well on the ACT, be willing to put in the work, and those at Sylvan will eagerly help you.

Wonderful experience, 2 months of intensive math tutoring for 12 grader really helped improve his ACT score, a lot of personalized help from Mathew and Gail , very reasonable tutoring rates and flexible with our schedules! I recommend this place very highly. Thank you Sylvan!
