Today I went into Destin lighting for the first time looking for lamp shades for my chandelier. Scott was so helpful and made us feel right at home he surely went the extra mile and i was successful finding Shaby chic shades. I was supposed to get there by 5pm to pick them up but missed closing by 3 minutes. I did call and tell them I would be in tomorrow. I pray they keep them on hold for me. I give Destin lightning 5 stars. Scott made our day!

Save yourself the trip, because if you don't look like you have money, they won't give you the time of day. I wanted to buy 3 lights, including a chandelier, and some very old man told me that I really needed to like their lights because if I wanted to buy them, they were very, very, very expensive. I believe he was a sales person, so I'd have thought he'd assist me on a sale and not assume I can't afford their lighting. I sure hope that wasn't the owner, because its a horrible business practice. I'm sorry both my beach houses aren't good enough for you. I guess I'll just go back to my dump on 30A.
