Best Haitian food EVERRRRR!! Taste like home cook Haitian food yummy have to try when u in Miramar Fl..
I gave this place a try & was pleasantly surprised! The decor is an authentic display of Haitian culture & the music is great. The food smells wonderful as you walk in & the staff here is very friendly. For non-meat eaters, the pickings are kind of slim (which is why I dropped the rating to a 4). Today they didn't have salad, which I thought was very strange & pretty much every dish had meat. My husband wanted the fried fish & luckily we got the last one. While it worked out for us, I think it is strange to run out of a popular item in the middle of the day. At first I thought they were still new & working out some kinks, but then I was advised that they've been open for quite some time so yikes lol. Now, I have to mention that the actual food was BEYOND DELICIOUS once we got it & everything was seasoned well & cooked to perfection! Overall, I would definitely give this place another shot & I would recommend them to anyone who loves Haitian cuisine or who would like to give it a try. The food is delicious!
I was in South Beach Miami areas on a short vacation and was desperately craving some Authentic Haitian Foods. So I thought I’d try different places at a time to try them out and La Belle Jacmelienne Cafe was my first stop, OMG, I became hooked instantly after my first bite. I had the Griot with Rice & Red Peas, the food was so delicious, well presented, but most of all, the beautiful ladies at the counter were very welcoming. So I decided to go back the next day prior to going to the beach, to try the stewed turkey over rice & black peas, once again, I was hooked not only by the delicious meal, but The Passion Fruit Ti Carols...omg they brought back so much memories. I went back after the beach cause I was starving lol, once again, they NEVER failed to deliver on the Authenticity and Presentation of their dishes. Listen, I’m a Mama’s boy and very picky when it comes to Haitian Dishes, but I swear if I could take that place with me back to Georgia, I would. I highly recommend it to any true Haitians, Haitian Food Lovers, or Caribbean Food Lovers in General, I promise you will NOT be disappointed. They’re the reason why I wanna come back to Miami as my mouth currently waters as I’m typing this. Ughrrrrrrrr, can y’all overnight me some? I’ll cover the shipping.
It is a excellently decorated place with good lighting, a warm reception and service. The food is just as good as the decor and worth the visit every time, it truly gives you a taste of Haiti in America. Worth a visit every time if you love Haitian food. I highly recommended this place.
