Have taken multiple flights with Spirit and all of them have been pleasant. It's a budget airlines and yes you have to pay for carry on, checked baggage and food etc. But people act like it's news to them. If you don't mind a standard regular seat in a plane and flying with just a personal item then check out Spirit. The flight attendants are always very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great job Spirit.

Spirit Airlines have come a long way. My flight with them was very nice. Customer service was professional And respectful. Flight crew is professional, fun and down to earth, with safety on their mind. Price was, pretty affordable too. Made me feel very safe and comfortable to continue to fly with them.
Their cancellation policy is a joke. They cancelled my flight the night before and were completely not helpful in rebooking on any other airline. Thank you Southwest for having a reasonable fare. It took 90 minutes of hold time to even reach their customer service. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU CAN HANDLE UNSCHEDULED DELAYS
Worst airline EVER. The only free bags they allow are personal items that are 8x14x18 inches, totaling 40 inches. My bag was 39.5 inches, which should have fit their specifications, but they said its handle was an inch too large. They made my pay 65 at the gate on my first flight, and for my second flight, they made me use trash bags (that I brought myself) and throw away my small suitcase that cost me 20 to purchase (pictured below) because I refused to pay them an additional 65. Now I am at the airport with my belongings stuck in a garbage bag. Their policies forced me to throw away a suitcase in great condition. Compounded nationwide with people who are forced to act similarly, their environmental impact must be the absolute WORST out of every airline in the country. They suck every cent out of their customers and I will NOT fly with them again.
This is the absolute worst airlines out there! I have been on hold for over an hour and then they hang up on me! I booked a flight and they canceled the flight immediately after booking it and will not offer a refund! Don't waste your time booking with this airline. The extra money is better spent elsewhere.
