I just had to share!!! It was our first eye exam for our kids at Barajas Vision Clinic. And I can say it was the most uplifting and educational experience with Dr. Barajas. We had other Optometrist that didn’t give us accurate results for children’s eye lens and would rush us out, But Dr. Barajas compassion and patience will keep us as patients i strongly recommend Dr.Barajas for your vision doctor.

My two boys and I had a great and pleasant experience with Dr. Barajas and his staff. The wait was short and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had never had such an attentive and informative ophthalmologist take care of us, with great detail and concern for our health needs. I highly recommend the Barajas Vision Clinic to everyone in the Rio Grande Valley!!!

I was relatively new to the Mission, TX area and I needed an eye exam for glasses. I called around to different places in Mission & Mcallen. What stuck out the most to me about the Barajas Vision Clinic, was how nice and helpful the receptionist was that helped me here! She was quick to give me pricing and appointment information and wasn't pushy at all. The other places I called weren't as helpful. That alone made me want to go there. When I finally got in for my appointment, again, the people were friendly and helpful. It was clean and thankfully, not too cold an office and my wait wasn't too long. The price for the exam wasn't too bad, their were others that were a little cheaper, not by much, but man, you get what you pay for! Dr. Barajas himself was an AWESOME doctor, friendly, helpful, and able to explain my issues in a way that was easy to understand, using various analogies, it was an overall great experience! I would highly, highly recommend you go to this office for your eye exam needs! Finally, I went to the office in Mission, TX, I do not know what their other office is like but if it's like this one, than I'm sure it be just as pleasant an experience!

First of all.. this is my daughters account But Dr Barajas is THE BEST!!! He was the only one that has helped my son with his eye sight. They had diagnosed my son with ADD... which I didn’t believe & trust me when I say I’m not that mom in denial. Turns out the kid just couldn’t see correctly! Dr Barajas was so patient with him & his chair side manners are amazing & thorough! He has continued to help us in this journey & always gives me tips to help us with our son at home!! I’ve been recommending this eye clinic to friends and family for years. My daughter has had problems with a little bit of a lazy eye. I love how thorough Dr Barajas is when he examines her. He uses the latest technology to see how her vision effects her when reading and doing her school work. You won’t just go in for an eye exam, he will take his time to explain what is going on with your eyes and how it effects you. I moved to San Antonio and still go back to him for my daughter’s exam every year. That’s how great this clinic is.
