Had birthday brunch with the family. The food was excellent. The staff was truly nice and friendly. Our server, Nicole, was very competent and helpful. The owners, Bob and Denise, we're very friendly. You can tell they care about their people. The environment was clean. They are taking the necessary steps to avoid the civic pandemic. I would definitely go again and take friends.

Our server KP was really helpful and helped us get the full experience. Went there for bbq and the shrimp took the crown, the shrimp sauce was amazing and delicious on the bread. Can't go wrong with the ribs either. Well proportions at a reasonable price.
Wow, our experience was incredible! The service was great and the food was delicious. Our server, KP, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She gave fantastic recommendations. The food came out quick and we loved everything we ordered. The mac and cheese was killer. We definitely will be coming back!
While it was an out of the way place, it was well worth the trip to find it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the chopped rib meat sandwich and it was amazing. My wife had turkey with sweet potato fries. The turkey was very moist and she said the fries were the best she'd ever had. Crispy and tastee. I would highly recommend eating there and next time we are in Kansas City we will stop.
R.J.'s is that neighborhood spot where everyone knows your name! From great service to great food its no wonder why the locals keep coming. I especially love that they are big believers in outdoor bands as it's the perfect mix to some awesome smoked wings and BBQ. Looking forward to some much missed events once this covid stuff is over!
