One of the first viewpoint stops (and hike) you can make after entering Arches National Park is at the Park Avenue trailhead and Courthouse Towers. It is around 4 miles past the park entrance on Arches Scenic Drive. The trail is an easy 1-mile hike passing along a canyon floor flanked by towering rock formations on both sides. These are the Courthouse Towers, which are also quite visible from the roadside as well if you simply want to pull your vehicle over and admire them from there before proceeding to higher priority area of the park. The rock formations each have own unique name including the Tower of Babel, The Organ, Three Gossips and Sheep Rock. Roadside signage helps point out the landscape landmarks. Keep your eye out for these at the viewpoints if you don't have a hiking of guidebook for Arches NP with you.
Good spot to stop after a long drive, take few amazing pictures, and make first impression of breathtaking rock formations.

Those huge and tall sand-rocks in this viewing area are the most spectacular natural wonders I have ever seen in the world. I will be coming back again soon, just wanting to be there and enjoying myself.
