Carl Dec took me and my son out for a day of backcountry skiing in the Wasatch. Amazing day. We were first timers and Carl gave us all the tips and tricks we need to be successful and safe. Super nice guy and perfect for our needs.

Our group did a half day beginning rock climbing trip, and we had such a good time! Our guide, Sharbo (forgive me if I’m spelling it wrong), was among the best employees I have even interacted with! He knew a lot about the surrounding area, and about rock climbing. He would often encourage and compliment us while we were climbing, and give us useful tips when we were stuck. Everyone in our group were beginners, so I was glad the our guide was super nice and patient with us. He was patient with us on everything from finding the right sized shoes, to learning to tie a climbing knot, to understanding how to crack climb. Overall amazing experience with this guy! The other parts of our trip were great as well! We climbed at the Ice Cream Parlor climbing area. The area was made for beginners (like us), but I still felt challenged the whole time! Our climbing location was oriented so it was shady the whole time we were there (super helpful in August!) We had plenty of time for everyone in our group to climb. And there was never a time when I felt unsafe. If you are looking to have some fun rock climbing in Moab, I recommend Red River 100 percent!
My friend and I traveled down to Moab for the week and she signed us up for Canyoneering with Red River Adventures and WOW what a great experience. I had never done something like that so needless to say I was nervous. The guides, Brian and Sharbo, were so knowledgeable, patient with questions, and kept it fun with jokes and fun facts about the rocks, canyon, and their experiences in Moab. This was truly one of the best things I’ve ever done!! Brian and Sharbo, thank you for making us feel so safe, confident and excited to do something out of our comfort zone. You two made this experience so memorable and exciting. It is truly one I’ll never forget! To anyone thinking about this activity, I highly recommend doing it and if you can, request Brian or Sharbo as your guides!

Based on other reviews on TripAdvisor, I asked for Michael to be our guide for June 25, 2019 full day rafting trip. It was sooo much fun! It was the best thing we did in Moab as voted by our kids ages 11 and 13. We felt safe despite some high adrenaline rush sections. A must do!
