Wow! We were so pleased. Our first time here to adopt a pet. When we arrived we were greeted by such nice friendly staff. Ray Ray was The Bomb. He was so knowledgeable and good with the dogs. He took us outside to a gated area to meet the dog we were looking at online. I was a little nervous as it is a bigger dog than I am use to. Ray Ray talked to us about the best way to begin training. He was a vet assistant as well. Ray Ray answered all our questions. Ray Ray told us to come back for a meet and greet with our dog we already have to make sure they would get along. A few other members of the shelter were out there during the dogs meet and greet to watch and view their interaction. It all went very well and everyone was so knowledgeable. Please go by and adopt a pet today. 40 for most dogs and that includes the adoption, their rabies shot, neutered, and a microchip as well as a gift certificate for 10 at a pet food retailer. Oh and a welcome bag that includes a blanket. I really can’t get over how wonderful this staff is. They were amazing and will Walk you through everything. Such an amazing facility.

I wanted to post an UPDATE on Daz, a puppy removed from MCAS in July 2017, his skin was pretty rough looking, but not terribly skinny. Third Coast Animal Rescue pulled him and got him well. He’s now my forever friend. Happy Ending.

If i could give it a 0 i would. They will deny you if you didn't have heartworm prevention on previous animals. My dog was checked monthly for this and never had heartworms. But I got denied anyway.
