One of the best kept secret cemeteries in Mobile and I LOVE to come here and just roam around and soak it all in...beautiful, historic burial ground with remarkably well kept graves and beautiful old Mobile ironwork. The oak trees, ivy, magnolia trees, honeysuckle, azaleas, dogwood trees, gorgeous varieties of maples that turn spectacular colors in the fall...all make this an AMAZING place to go and spend a couple of hours. The cremation garden is also BEAUTIFUL with the fountain and brickwork. The only tiny complaint I have is that there are several historic tombstones that have broken and been HORRIBLY repaired with what looks like gobs of spackle and cement, so much so that the words are no longer legible at all. Sadly irresponsible.
