The Wine Smith stocks a great variety of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you make wine or brew beer, novice or experienced, this is a great place to shop. Very friendly folks too, it's a joy to visit.
Nice place to get home brew ingredients and supplies. Dennis, the owner, is always very helpful. He knows on the spot what is interchangeable if he doesn't have exactly what you are looking for. Its not a giant shop, so you have to be willing to accept very close substitutes. Prices are OK. I am really glad to have a local resource in Mobile. Wish it wasn't so far out though!
Love this little store. It's got everything to make your own wine, beer etc. The owner is super nice and very knowledgeable about making everything. He also carries recipe/how to books and kits. I make the 100 mile trip a couple times a year just to shop and get supplies for me and my friends.
For a small building the owner sure knows how to pack a great selection of products in it giving you a very good selection of products. The owner is super helpful and very knowledgeable about the products he sales and his prices are reasonable so if you need some supplies or just want to stop in and shoot the breeze it's a friendly well supplied wine shop you will enjoy.
