The most important secret Army Surplus Store , before heading on Area 51 adventures and beyond.Found a warm Army coat , for cheap, that kept me warm for the 13 F ,up north in Bodie. There was also some old spy stuff, an analog reel to reel tape recorder , like from the old 70’s Mission Impossible tv show , and the owner Shannon ,a Mohave Mystic said “I hope it doesn’t explode “. and I had to have it ... Filled with amazing things, it takes days to go through it all.Theres a RV park a stone throw away, 20, what are you waiting for? Shannon gave me a handmade Dreamcatcher with specifically tuned bells for my ANSD , and a map to Vegas circa 1964 , the year of my birth .There is this Slash like hat with all these enigmatic symbols; when I can afford that one. Warning to tweakers , don’t go in there taking a bunch of pictures with your cell phone; THEY ARE ON TO YOU.

I liked this place. Huge inventory of assorted wares from the way way back. Pleasant shop keeper. So many warm coats and military memorabilia. Look for it’s the end of the world signs.

The Mojave Desert is filled with things strange and interesting and fun to explore. This store is part art collection, part history lesson, part military surplus, part costume options, part flea market, part camping supplies, part thrift store, part classic jewelry, part Indian goods, part desert artifacts, etc. It has something for everyone. It is well worth the stop for a few minutes or a few hours.

Well stocked with both old stuff and new items. Some of the vintage items could be cleaned, since the prices are somewhat higher than in other places. But they do have good bargains so it's worth a detour.

Cool old school Army Navy surplus. Big store really nice and friendly girl daughter of original old time owner.. just missing the surplus dummy guns of yesteryear \that are illegal anyway in Commiefornia \ but they do have a cpl on display though.
