A small pizza place tucked away in the corner of a shopping center doesn't attract much attention. As a matter of fact if we didn't turn around here we would have drove by like the majority of people. When you are in the restaurant you can tell majority of the business coming from this gem is either carry-out or delivery, but there lies the secret. In the entrance to the restaurant there is a chalkboard with the specials of the day written on it. The deals were very good, just as good if not better than a national pizza chain, but the quality blows the large chains out of the water! It is a basic set-up with a great product, and it's easy to show what they care about, and that is a good pie!

Mona Lisa has long been my favorite ever since Joe opened it in 92. I've stayes loyal all these years. However on multiple occasions I've called to order delivery for my elderly mother that lives across the street and nobody answers the phone or the call gets skipped. I've let it go minimum 6 times, especially if it's an hour before closing time. Can we please fix this. Thank you.

The pizza was really good and the employees were very nice. Billy was an excellent server and made the visit memorable with his attention and service. Will definitely visit on my next trip to VA Beach.

Since I was young, the special birthday treat my brother and I got was Mona Lisa's pizza. My father who owned Mercury Flight center Hampton Roads would stop after his drive home from Chesapeake just to get us this delicious pizza. Throughout my life, Mona Lisa's has stayed with me and my family. We absolutely love this spot. I can remember the previous owner Joe sliding me pepperonis to snack on as I waited when I was a boy. I remember Crystal knowing me on a first name basis and always having the brightest smile and biggest hug for me, asking me how I was doing in soccer or if I was still competing and playing piano. These people know how to take care of the guests, know how to make you feel like part of a family. The current owner is doing a fantastic job. Please don't ever change the recipe or what makes this place so incredible. Mona Lisa's is simply the best pizza I have ever had. Recently I travelled to NY and dined in Flushing, Manhattan, The Bronx, and I couldn't find any pizza as good as Mona Lisa's. Seriously, it's that good. I live in Richmond, and whenever I come back to the beach to visit my Ma, there's always one thing I can't resist doing--getting some delicious Mona Lisa's.

Amazing value for made to order food at lunch. Lunch specials board changes daily, but general includes the 1 topping small pizza, a pasta option, and at least one salad, sandwich, gyro, or wrap for 6.75 with a drink!

23452's Hidden treasure. Awesome food, and fantastic staff! Not to mention it's locally owned and proudly operated. Takes me back to New Jersey's Italian restaurants.

Not the greatest first impression. My friend and I walk in and the guy at the front says “just sit anywhere” while he was on his phone. The place was dirty. We were the only ones dining in and there was trash everywhere. A drink was knocked over and ice was all over the floor. Tables were not wiped down, other people’s dirty dishes and trash left on the tables. For it being extremely slow on a Thursday you would think someone would have the time to at least pick up the dishes. The guy at the front was walking in and out of the place touching things outside, still on his phone, and coming back in to serve the food. That’s disgusting. We ordered only 2 slices of pizza and it took over 30 minutes. Needless to say that I won’t be coming back or recommending to anyone else either. Just because you’re located in a dirty shopping center doesn’t mean your restaurant has to match it on the inside.
