First time doing a spiritual exercise...I recommend it to everyone! We all need to stop and connect ourselves to God through Jesus and Mary. We can be so vain as humans that we forget what truly matters...life is way too short.. we definitely need to work on our souls. The nuns sound so angelic. The attention from Sister Acahuato through this exercise was priceless! Sister Mary Arc teaching were very helpful. I was very happy to see the Msgr. Philip J. Reilly and have the chance to speak with him before I left. (God bless him) I would definitely want to do it again in God's willing and help in any way can. May God continue to bless them in the journey they have chosen.

I would highly recommend to do the 4 day Ignatian Spiritual Exercises here. Although a very short version, the wonderful Sisters explain the meditations very well, it is nicely structured, and if you do the spiritual work, you will see the fruits. But you should be ready for spiritual work! The retreat is silent and the schedule is regimented so as to compact 30 days of exercises into 4 days. They also take good care of you here, with nice meals and comfortable rooms. It would be nice to donate a bit more than they ask if you can. I am so glad I went, it was one of the best decisions I could make.

This Church is one of the best cathedrals I ever saw in Brooklyn.
