My son has been going to Kids Country since he was 6 months old. He is now 3. We have had our share of frustrations and growing pains. All have been addressed quickly, with documentation and feedback to and from the teachers and staff. The director and her assistant answer my emails within hours and questions over the phone immediately. I have to just say that this facility has taken all precautions during the pandemic. They have gone above and beyond to navigate change instantly especially since our new life styles have us all learning and growing everyday. They lead with compassion and transparency. For years I have visited and sought out another facility only to continue our time here. I’m very happy with my decision and look forward everyday at pick up to hear what fun my son had that day with his friends.

I am in the hotel next door to this establishment. They NEVER sanitize the toys that these children play on. Scooters, etc....With Covid19 I would never put my child there. I see what occurs every morning from my hotel window.

I went here when I was little. They didn’t take care of me in the slightest and let me cry in the corner of the playground.

This place has been so good to my family. They have helped me work through some issues with my daughter after having gone through kindercare and kids n us and being kicked out for normal behavior. They treat her as an individual with feelings and emotions. Her teachers are amazing and the director is on top of everything. My daughter lover her teachers and the do a great curriculum too.

Parents of color, beware! I made appointment 6 day before over the phone to get a tour of the facility. The lady already told me there was opening for two year olds. When I got there the door was open and there wasn’t anyone in the front greeting. When the lady did come out. She just look at my daughter and I then continue doing whatever she came to the front for. When I got her attention to let her know I had a 4pm appointment she just put a form on the counter and disappear. While I was filling out the form, other staff member were just looking at my daughter and I like we were disgusting. Another lady came , ask me how old she was and then said, I’ll show you to the class. She didn’t introduce herself or ask me what my daughter name. When we arrived to the empty class. She open the door , without turning on the lights and said this is the class. My daughter ran in when she saw the kids outside playing. When I saw the kids on the playground I realized we were the only African Americans. I ask her questions and her answer were short . When I ask her did they have any openings for next month she said I don’t think so. At that point it was clear they didn’t want me or my daughter there. We walk back to the front after seeing the classroom, not the whole facility I thought happens when you scheduled a tour. Overall they were ruined unwelcoming and if they are doing that with me there. I couldn’t imagine how that would treat my two year old daughter without me present. It’s sad that racism still exist.
