The cops in Monroe, LA are corrupt and racist. IF I were you, I would not trust ANYTHING about a black suspect charged with a crime. These cops go around and harass and falsely arrest black people and misrepresent the facts of the case. Read about the reviews of what happened to me in 2008. I've left the review multiple times on various law enforcement and court google pages. I do that because I believe people DO read them and take them down or request they be hidden. If you people don't want an honest and open forum of how you treat your citizens, why do you even have google reviews? Those 5 star ratings come from police or prosecutors. They are honestly uneducated enough to do that. So don't believe ANY 5 star review you hear. The Department of Justice needs to be contacted about Louisiana police. And the crimes they commit against black civilians. Racists nothings need to be reprimanded, jailed and fired from their jobs. Not a single cop in Louisiana is good or honest.

The processing of papers take far too long; we also seem to have a major problem with law within the structure itself due to no paper work being taken seriously from inmates and or detainees that should not be there because it violates state regulations due to charge type an or health.
I worked here once, I was just tired of the co workers harassing me, and I was walking on egg shells everyday because I couldnt bring my homework or anything to help keep me awake
Tengo a mi hijo en este lugar , a mi me trataron con mucha educación y mi hijo está bien , limpio , bien cuidado tiene su comida y puede llamar por teléfono para comunicarse conmigo , solo pido que le hagan el proceso rápido para que salga es muy joven y le espera un mejor futuro en este país porque es un profesional.
