This lake is beautiful! Very easy to get to and above all clean. The only reason I give it four stars is due to the staff and lifeguards having no problem using the loud speakers to correct customers and children when disobeying set rules. However, when it came to mutual respect if one another they lacked the ability to regulate it. A bunch of grown children yelling “Black Lives DON’T matter” for 5 minutes at the top of their lungs for everyone to hear in the water around a pretty diverse beach going crowd of all ethnicities, with no reprimand was pretty disheartening. If their parents don’t correct them. I feel it is the duty of the establishment to remind them that they should show mutual respect for all using the beach. I am Black and so is my nephew who is visiting . So, were many other families on the beach yesterday. Little children in general should not have to hear such nonsense when they are just trying to go for a swim on the lake. It seemed like a family oriented place. Do better to make the space feel like that for everyone. That behavior was absolutely ridiculous and off putting. I didn’t pay 8 each for that kind of experience.

Lovely small beach for families. Man made lake. Paddle boating. Large picnic area. Playground. Beautiful lake. Parking changing station and snack bar.
Not bad spot for day with the family. 10.00 per person. Kids free. Bring a small grill and have some fun for the day. Kayak, paddle baits and small john boats for rent as well
We found this place on Labor Day last year on the last day they were open for the season. So nice. Water is great, many picnic tables available, attentive lifeguards. Can't wait to go this season.
Came here to meet some friends for the day! Drove a hour to get here! I pulled into the parking lot waiting for my friends to get here! I guy walks up to my car asks why I was here. I told him I was waiting for friends. He states that I couldn’t be here, the park was t open yet! Ok so we’re do I park since there no other places to park? He states that I couldn’t be there mind u I was the only car inside the parking lot, and it was only ten minutes before the park opened! I offered to pay the admission to the park and he refused. So I went out the booth was now open the lady working the booth was super nice and allowed me to wait across the street. The managers public service was the worst! And I feel that I wasn’t Impolite and I feel he should have been either
