I have stopped there many times and purchased beautifully crafted horse hair gifts. I’m from California so whenever I’m in the area I stop. I just recommended it to another traveler from Arizona. This is a wonderful place to pick up a small unique gift or an extravagant gift for someone. I highly recommend the Prison Hobby Shop.

This shop has some of the nicest hitched horse hair items you'll ever see. The work is done by inmates. Some know their craft well and others are just learning -- items are priced accordingly. Key fobs, hat bands, belts and exquisitely worked horse bridles. Other hand crafted items available (beading, decorative dream catchers, etc.). Call ahead to assure the store will be open. Well worth a visit!
