What a wonderful time my sister and I just had at MAM. We L O V E D the Uribe exhibit so much. What an imagination! Many interesting works throughout the museum. A terrific Christmas present. Thank you, Lori!

This is one very nice museum. Well worth a visit
A wonderful place to visit, take art classes and partake in events. Most recently, a 320K award from The Henry Luce Foundation is the Montclair Art Museum’s largest-ever one-time foundation grant to boost Native American Art Collection At Montclair Museum. Patch.com
They have some great exhibits.
Unfortunately If I could give no stars I would. Two of my staff and I along with 17 clients who make up a special community of individuals entered the museum. Right away staff was very unwelcoming, and right away showed no compassion towards my clients. Museum staff huddled up together and were expressing how “sad” this is. Not sure exactly why that was said? They were trying to split our clients up into groups, as I then explained it wasn’t a good idea due to staff needing to be with ALL clients at ALL times. I understand the no running, no touching rules, but again this a community of special individuals who can’t comprehend that. There are ways to express these rules in a polite full manner, clearly which their staff was not capable of. Therefore my staff and I made the decision to just leave the museum. I do not recommend this exhibit at all.
