Thank you does not even touch upon the deep gratitude we have for the women and men who selflessly and tirelessly serve us at the Montecito Fire Protection District. We are in complete awe of the heroics we have read and heard about, knowing there are countless stories that will humbly go untold. You have gone above and beyond to risk your live's, serve our community and keep us safe as we have all been touched by the devastation of the Thomas Fire and Mudslides. We are truly indebted to you. God Bless You .. you remain in our prayers.

My father Fred L. Cota retired from the Department after 33 years of service with the rank of Captain. Montecito Fire Department was my Dad's life. He was born and raised in Montecito and lived on Cota Lane with his family. On his days off Dad was a meat cutter for Jordano's grocery store. Dad would visit Station 1 on a daily basis after retirement. I have such fond memories growing up in and around Station 1 and later at Station 2. Thanks to all Montecito Fire Fighters you are the BEST!!!
