A laudable selection of local, area, mostly smaller producer California wine makers. Prices are highly reasonable for the excellent quality of the wines. And, service is friendly and welcoming. There’s a nice little patio out front. I definitely want to go back.

Such a wonderfully intimate spot to enjoy friends and family. The owner was so welcoming and created a truly warm and inviting place to relax while enjoying a glass ( or two) of wine! I had an amazingly wonderful evening after shopping for Xmas with my son. Thank you Claire for providing such a delightful evening. I want to come again

Great little wine bar. Staff are super nice. Attended Disney trivia which was fun. Small space so get there early for any special event there. Wine was great! They have some food too which is a bonus

Love this place. The wine list is always changing and they offer lots of local wines in addition to wines from all over California. Lots of small boutique wines that don't have their own tasting rooms and can't be found in other stores. Love the owner and room manager. They've been the faces of the business since the start and the new employees I've interacted with a bit have been great too. They're super welcoming, offer lots of fun nights whether paint and sip or trivia.

Jason and Claire are great hosts. Any local thinking of joining a wine club should definitely consider this one. They offer a great selection of local wines and you aren't locked into just one particular winery's choices. They do an amazing job curating affordable and approachable wines that will be a great addition to your collection. And, it is a great place to bring friends and family to introduce them to what California wines are.

Incredible staff, ambiance and wine list! We were travelling from Canada and it was a Monday evening, so it was quite quiet in Monterey. Luckily for us though, it was trivia night and the place was packed with great energy but still informal and casual! Thank you for being such a rad place to visit.

The woman tending bar acted annoyed serving us. She was so preoccupied with chatting it up with her friends at the end of the bar she ignored us. Didn't bother discuss wines with us at all. We came to Monterey for a mini vacation, we've been here 3 days, and winged it with our food and drink options and have been throughly impressed until we visited Sovino. Hope they can pull it together, it looked like a nice cozy place to stop and sip some wine.
