Had a issue with my driver license getting sent to my P.O Box. So it got sent back to Montgomery Alabama driver license division I’m from mobile al and I never received my DL’s. So I was calling this place about my situation an this guy I’m gonna call him sir he would not help me with my situation he kept saying call back Monday and I explain to him I’m coming from California can you please sir check an see if my Driver License is there he told me no call back Monday so I knew I was on the phone with the wrong person. So I kept calling an this lady answered the phone I’m gonna call her ma’am an I told her my situation and she told me she was gonna check the return Drivers License an she said it was a huge pile of returned DL’s it’s gonna be a minute to go through them all to find mines. 3 minutes later she picked up the phone an said I found yours just need to verify your Social Security number. I told ma’am my social an she said yes it’s here you can come pick it up an I drove from Mobile to Montgomery to get my driver license an it was worth the trip an I wanna thank you so much ma’am for helping me because that guy sir truly didn’t.. I appreciate you so much ma’am thank you very much! If anyone have the same situation keep calling until ma’am answer the phone because sir ain’t gonna do nothing but give you the run around an tell you to call back Monday ...

Good luck with trying to get a drivers license. No one ever answers the phones. No one ever to talk to. You'll spend multiple times on the phone and not speak to one person. Then get hung up on by their Machine.

I didn't get the names of the team that was working in Background Checks and Fingerprinting at Alea today 14 Jul 2020, but they deserve big Kudos. So welcoming and efficient! I see a lot of complaints here and many are regarding the phone system. The number on Google goes straight to the Drivers License division. They need someone to claim this and correct the number. I think that is causing most of the problem, at least that was happened to me. But once I got the right folks! Boom they were awesome!!!
